For our Atlanta and Richmond guests, driving to Wilmington takes about 6 and 4 hours (respectively). However, if you are traveling from a bit further away or would prefer to fly, Wilmington does have an international airport (ILM) about a 10 minute drive from downtown.

Hotel Ballast Wilmington, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
We have secured a small block of rooms at this hotel situated right along the riverwalk. It is a great option as it is only about a 10 minute walk to St. James Episcopal Church and close to many other shops and restaurants.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront
A little more north of the Hotel Ballast, this is another great downtown option along the river.
ARRIVE Wilmington
A smaller hotel in downtown Wilmington with a lovely courtyard on the grounds.
The Hive
This option offer rental suites, each complete with a living room and full size kitchen. If you want to stay downtown, but have a bit more room to unwind, check out the Hive and their availability.
Graystone Inn
Opening in October 2024 following renovations and repairs, this bed and breakfast was originally built as a private home in 1905.
Blockade Runner Beach Resort
The Blockade Runner has been in Wrightsville Beach for the past 60 years. This is a great hotel for those wanting to stay away from downtown and enjoy some coastal scenery.
