What to See & Eat

Historic Downtown Riverwalk

Your visit to Wilmington would not be complete without a stroll along the riverwalk, soaking in the views of the Cape Fear River and stopping in one of the many shops, cafes, and art galleries. Some worthwhile spots for meals include Front Street Brewery, Beach Bagels and Subs, and Anne Bonny’s.

Historic House Museums

Wilmington has a multitude of well-preserved, historic house museums from the 18th and 19th centuries. Some examples are the Bellamy Mansion, Latimer House, and Burgwin-Wright House, each with their own unique history, architecture, and furnishings. Check each of the home’s websites to confirm their visiting hours.
